A: Pours a lightly hazy medium golden orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint to moderate medium golden yellow + bright yellow + pale pink colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that quickly reduces to a small patch of very thin film and a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of sweet strawberries along with moderate aromas of citrus/orange, vanilla, tropical/melon, and herbal hops over the top of light aromas of biscuit + grainy malts with a moderate amount of lactose sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + grainy malts with a moderate amount of lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of sweet strawberries. Finally there are just shy of moderate flavors of citrus/orange, vanilla, tropical/melon, and herbal hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away and leaving a light lingering sweet strawberry flavor.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant mouthfeel. Enjoyable and spot on for the flavors advertised but not sure that I'm really into strawberry milkshake IPAs so I don't think I would grab it again. I liked the fact that it tasted and smelled like fresh sweet strawberries.
