Foam Party Pilsner is a new lager recipe off our 20 barrel system designed for maximum foam and crispiness. Using a technique called 'spunding' we allowed for some natural carbonation to build up during fermentation, creating a higher carbonation level on the finish for supreme head retention.

A: Pours a clear medium yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale yellow + pale golden yellow + lemon yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of thin film covering a little more than 25% of the surface surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of bready + biscuit + lightly toasted malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness and light aromas of earthy + herbal + grassy hops.
T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of bready + biscuit + lightly toasted malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of earthy + herbal + grassy hops which impart a light amount of slightly lingering bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and pleasantly crisp + refreshing. Enjoyable with a traditional flavor + aroma of a Czech Pilsner.
