Very clear body this time with thick and frothy carbonation. Fresh, sweet aroma; a slight uptick in points. Spot-on west coast IPA taste. The feel is exquisite; smooth with a subtle, sharp bite on the palate; crisp.
Maybe because the beer sat around for a while in the 'Fortress of Solitude' and I'm serving this on a slightly warmer side than previously (I tend to enjoy my beers warmer than most), this go around is way more appealing across the sensory board. A mighty fine WCIPA by any standard...

10/07/20 review:
Golden yellow body, a bit cloudy; decent carbonation; thick, sticky, sculpted white head; patches of foam cling to the inside of the glass. Sticky, sweet aroma; a touch of honey and pine resin; some suggestion of dried apricot. Sweet and earthy spice taste; peppery hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; thick with residual sugar; semi-dry with a bit of alcohol warmth.
The beer is classified as a west coast IPA but isn't quite as clear and too sweet of a taste and mouthfeel to compared to OG west coast IPAs. And the smell, while somewhat diverse, isn't very vibrant. Still, the beer tastes fine and generally hides its high ABV quite well.

16 oz can
Pours clear golden, white head dissipates to sudsy lacing.
Aroma of honey, citrus, bready malts and piney hops.
Flavor is honey, biscuit, citrus zest, pine and earthy hops.
Medium body, fizzy carbonation.
Pretty good throwback style IPA. Nice to see a throwback now and again. Wish it had a bit more malt going on to really give it that richness modern IPAs are missing, but otherwise no complaints. Worth a try. Love the can art.

Lightly grassy nose. Malty with piney hop bitterness, substantial, with rounded sweet finish that is crisp and slightly dry. Refreshing in the world of neipa to have a wcipa again.
