this one is brewed with sour orange and coriander, sort of like a wit, but it seems to be less cloudy and wheat focused as authentic belgian witbiers. this is more of a pale barley malt base, straightforward and very light there, and like all the beer i enjoyed at bru, the extra ingredients are very subtle in this one. the orange is there in the aroma, tart and zesty, almost a little candied, but not too sweet. the coriander is way back, but there, woody like the seed, not as herbal as it sometimes is. the lightness of this beer is much appreciated. its light on the grain front, its light in abv, and its light on the extra ingredients. the result is a supremely sessionable refreshing beer, nice and bubbly and dry, that is unique enough to be memorable but not so intensely flavored as to distract one from the wonderful food served at bru. one of the more mild beers i had here, but also one of the most dialed in.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
