Right off the pour aromas of light malts. Cracker, white bread, and a touch of honey. Very slight grapefruit esters. The color is pale yellow (4), with slow rising carbonation and a tall, lacey white head. Moderate retention. The liquid is slightly cloudy, but not hazy, given it is unfiltered. The flavor is spicy and malty, without a detection of alcohol. Sour, rancid lemon upfront that dominates the experience. Toasted white bread and again, crackers. There is a soft body with moderate carbonation and aftertaste of lemon. Finish is short.
Pinkus Special was not what I expected. The rotten lemon taste is surprising and overpowering, but one grows accustomed to it by the third sip. All other aspects are well balanced, so the abrasive lemon/grass notes are off-putting. The aroma is actually quite pleasant. It resembles something more to an Alster (beer+lemonade) than a standalone beer, minus any sweetness. I could only imagine drinking this again if I had just hiked 40km in summer and this was offered to me at the end.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 5.1%. "Naturtrüb und ungefiltert". Like all Pinkus beers, it is organic. Pale golden colour, big and lasting white head. Moderate carbonation in the glass. Fairly unremarkable but not unpleasant sweetish aroma, hints of flowery hops and honey. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is delicate and tender, with a neat balance between the malts and hops. No "flavour bomb", but still much better than most of the industrial "fizzy and yellow" stuff.

Dorada, con un dedo de espuma de retención media. Ligera y de carbonatación media. Aroma herbáceo y cítrico. Sabor equilibrado. Fácil de beber.

Pours a vivid, hazy yellow-golden color with a huge, white head.
Smells of straw, toffee and a hint of white bread dough - pretty muted on the nose.
Has a soft mouthfeel with a light body to it, drinking a bit too easy, could use a little more flavor depth to entertain the tastebuds.
Tastes of straw, a faint flowery hop presence and cakey malts, heading to a soft but dull aqueous finish with absolutely nothing going on.
Very light and fairly boring. Well build, clean but thoughless.

Clear orange, with a fine white head that gives way to a persistent lacing. Herbal hop aroma, pilsner malts. The taste is bitter hoppy and sweet, with notes of honey, lemon and bitter herbs.

Gewoon maar niet speciaal. Deutschen Reinheitsgebot de oorzaak?

Slightly hazy golden color with a three finger head with low retention and leaving some laces.
Light aroma of pale malt and herbs. Hints of sour.
Refreshing taste of biscuit malt, floral hops and peppery yeast. Notes of green apples. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light body with low carbonation.
I have found this extremely mellow and pleasant with a perfect balance between all ingredients.

A: Quickly disappating head, witbier like, a bit cloudy, with tons of rising carbonation
S: Grassy, like hay, plasticiness.
T: Watery but sour and grassy. Okay. A hair of sweetness.
M: A hair astringent. Light to medium body.
O: I remember it being better.
