Worthy is my favorite brewery in Central Oregon. All the beers I've tried are excellent and I've tried about a dozen + or - . This is another great one. A slight sweetness and excellent hop taste with no bitterness. Don't remember where I purchased it though. 22 oz bottle and it disappeared rather quickly. Rated 10-19-2018

A GOLDEN CLOUDY BREW WITH A MEDIUM HEAD. The taste is a fruity mix of pineapple rind and plumb meat with enough tannins to balance out the big fruit presence. The finish is clean with no lingering tannin on the tongue. I think it’s a very good beer and one that’s not so sweet that IPA drinkers need to shy away from drinking.

12oz can picked up at Fred Meyer in Wood Village, OR
Poured into a Level Belgian-style tulip

p- orange with a slight haze; small foamy white head; looks good
n- med-bold; fruitiness and zesty spicy yeast; some floral notes and earthiness
t- nice toasted malt backbone supports fruitiness, tropical, and earthy dirt notes; pleasant
mf- med-bodied; med carb
o- while not my favorite hop profile (but not necessarily a bad one either), I thought this was a fairly well put together IPA regardless; would have again

12 ounce can poured into a pint glass. Canned on 05/25/22....I think. Pours a hazy golden with a half inch of resilient off white foam with some sticky lacing to follow. Pour does clear to a light haze after a few minutes in the glass.

Aroma is light yet pleasant. Spicy through the foam and more fruity as it settles out with a touch of pine resin as well. Taste has an off taste initially to the malt but then falls right in line to be pleasant and bready with a soft and creamy feel on the palate, touch of hop spice returns on the finish. Overall holds up pretty well at 4 months in the can, surely would be better fresh. Easy drinking brew.

6pk x 12 oz purchased for $6. Easily, by faaaaar the best beer of any kind for that price, thus the high overall score despite lower scores for individual traits. Slight haze, 1 finger of white, persistent head, nice lacing in a tall tulip glass. subtle smell somewhat dank, pine, malt, some fainter citrus pith, same taste but bolder. Clean finish mouthfeel but not overly thin or watery at all

12 ounce can poured in to a pint glass. Pours a hazy yellow color with a thick creamy white head. Smell is a sweet citrus aroma. Oranges and lemon blossoms. Taste is dominated by grapefruit flavors. There in an earthy presence as well like dirt or grass. Dry bitter finish. Not a bad brew. A little fruity and one dimensional.

From a 12oz can purchased at the pharmacy.

Hops right on top of the aroma. Taste is about the same, a pleasant surprise. Semi-sweet malt follows briefly, and then a nicely balanced bitter aftertaste. There's not an overwhelming amount going on, but it's all good. Sometimes simple is better. This a solid, old school West Coaster but the Strata is just different enough to make it interesting.

Six pack of cans picked up at Rite Aid in Kenmore, Washington.
Canned on 09/24/19. Served in a pint glass.

Look- Slightly hazy medium gold color. Modest off-white head that recedes fairly quickly to a thin cap of foam, decent lacing. Moderate carbonation streams visible.

Smell- Tropical fruit (pineapple, mango and papaya), citrus (lemon and orange/tangerine), dank melon and pine, bready malt, light berry and herbal/floral notes.

Taste- Similar to the nose. Tropical fruit, melon and pithy citrus with a solid malt backbone, some light pine notes. Pretty well balanced.

Feel- Medium bodied, dry and crisp with a moderately bitter finish. Medium carbonation on the tongue.

O- A nice offering from Worthy, give it a shot if you see it.

definitely the best beer i have had from these guys so far, and another one with strata hops that i love, this is probably the most exciting newer varietal out there right now, at least for me, i think ive liked every beers ive had that showcases it in this way, which is to say a big dry hop on top of a pretty basic and minimal grain profile, fermented clean and down to dry. just ipa here, but with a very unique hop profile from the strata. this is clearer than most, not relying on starchy and unmalted grains to carry the hops, more west coast and refined than other strata beers i have had, and i like this context for these hops. i get a ton of nuance here from floral honey to ripe peach to dill, the hops are at once herbal and fruity, and things like canned pineapple, dried apricot, and dried mango are also present to me, but so are lemon verbena, lemongrass, and white tea, its a pretty diverse aroma and flavor spectrum from a single hop, and honestly is up there for me with some legends like nelson and mosaic in terms of what it can do in this sort of beer. its off dry, minimally bitter, and packed with juicy fruity freshness. nice carbonation and tidiness overall, and a beer i could drink pretty endlessly. another delicious expression of strata hops, and a new favorite for me from worthy!

Wow.....great beer! No head or lacing to speak of, medium golden clear color, huge aroma of fruit, mainly pineapple and banana, and I usually don't smell much aroma anymore with my 66 yr old nose, great fruity pineapple taste that lingers with a decent bitterness. I just finished a sixer of Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin, which has been one of my favorites in the past, but I like this even better.
