Rated 8-25-2019. I remember the can and the flavor but not much else. From my rating it is a really good beer. It has a nice strong hop bitterness, but not too much bite. Really good IIPA. 85 IBUs

this one was a little weird for me, the label says "balance not bombs" which is cool. but this is pretty old school balanced, like a lot of crystal malt and more bitter than flavor from the hops, less of the modern dry hopped character, although this certainly seems to have some post fermentation hop addition. a rusty orange color, a short lived white head that settles back to just some lazy bubbles on the surface. the aroma and flavor are similar, a little oxidation and caramelized grain sugar up front, and then some northwestern hop bitterness and pine character through the second half of it, pleasant enough, but samey and not particularly fresh tasting as they go. the weird part here though is the yeast, like i get a very new and subtle funk to this, like an accidental brett infection just setting in, but curiously, i think its flattering, brings out an almost english side to the ale yeast in here, bready and very compatible with the grain, and i think it works with the bitter hops too. it adds needed depth, and while it might not supposed to be here, i dont dislike it, and its far from funky or out of place at this point. overall this is not bad, but its not as good as the other hoppy stuff i have had from these guys and really didnt impress me much overall. a little booze burn as it warms too, nothing special in my experience...

22oz bottle picked up at Ballinger Thriftway in Mountlake Terrace, Washington.
No dating on the bottle. Served in a pint glass.

Look- Clear, golden amber color, nice off-white head that recedes quickly and leaves a minimal amount of lacing.
Very little carbonation stream visible in the glass as it sits.

Smell- Pine needles, citrus (grapefruit, lemon and orange), a little malty, a bit dank and maybe a little peach and cantaloupe.

Taste- Same as the smell, the citrus takes on more of a pith flavor than the smell. The bitterness really shines through at the end.

Feel- Medium bodied with a little carbonation on the tongue.

O- This is my first offering from Worthy Brewing and it's pretty much a straight up old school west coast IPA. I paid over $5 for this 22oz, so I don't know if I'll come back to this one... Oh, and at the bottom of the front label it says 8.5% alc/vol.

22 oz. bottle purchased from Safeway in West Salem OR.
$5.41
Pours a nice orange/amber colour with a gorgeous thick and frothy eggshell white head.
Aromas of floral and dank hops though there is a bit of fruitiness also. Aromas of toffee/caramel from the malt.
Strong yet well balanced taste..both malt and hops are clearly there but meld well..touch f drying alcohol right at the end..which alctually helps cut the sweetness.
Mouth feel is nice..medium feel, medium to low carbnation and semi dry finish .
Not a bad beer..kinda old fashioned now though.

Pours a clear golden orange color with plenty of foam in the tumbler. Pleasantly spritzy on the tongue. Hot and hoppy with a powerful aroma of fruit, pine, and citrus in a fragrant jumble. Tangy and fairly acidic. Flavors of grapefruit peel, applejack, cedar, grapes, and a hint of lemon. And plenty bitter.

Moderately sweet in the usual DIPA range. Overall, this is resiny, substantial hoppy brew. Plenty powerful with alcohol and a serious bitter aftertaste. The brewer claims 85 IBUs. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Pioneer Market in La Conner.
