Pours a pure black body with a nice sized and nice looking tan head.
Good semi dark chocolate aromas..like slightly stronger good milk chocolate. Some sweet whipping cream and slight earthiness..very slight.
Taste is the same but getting some porter like ashiness right at the end of the taste. Maybe also a bit of blackberry.
Mouth feel is on the thin side of medium..that's fine for a traditional porter..as they are meant to be drinkable.
OK porter..i put this down as American porter but the body is like an English! But a good beer.
