Look: Turbid orange with a silky white head that slowly recedes to a pillow and leaves great lacing behind

Aroma: Pink, white, and ruby-red grapefruit, navel orange, Cara cara orange, tangerine, kumquats, and some fruity dank

Taste: A rush of all things grapefruit start the journey with a bang and include pulp, rind, and juice as they slowly unfold and deepen. Oranges come next and work their way in as dank circles around throughout and closes with tons of juicy grapefruit

Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and lightly dry on the finish

Overall: I dig it. I wasn’t sure I’d like this but respect Worthy and like Strata hops so went in with an open mind and it’s a good one. Although it looks hazy, it drinks more like a juicy IPA to me without the heavy and super soft feel. A treat to try and I’d drink it again. Thanks Dad!

I’m not sure if I just got a bad batch… but there was a weird sediment at the bottom of the can. Strange

WORTHY BREWERY GOLDEN HAZY IPA - 7.5 IBU
Wow what a huge wonderful taste surprise as the flavor of apricot, peach and some pineapple come through in a great mix of flavors. The beer is listed as only 35 Ibu so it a very easy drinking brew and one I highly recommend.

Wow! This is an amazing value! (3.75 +.25 for value = 4)

I picked this up in Southern CA for about $8 for the sixer of 12 oz cans and it's good enough that I went back and bought another sixer on a different visit to The Grocery Outlet.

So, this hazy, apparently dry hopped IPA comes in at 7.5% ABV and you wouldn't guess it. Great aromas of aromatic hops including subtle citrus, light sweetness, and some mango and other tropical fruits.

The flavors on the tongue are even better. Well-balanced between sweetness, bitterness, and hops. Some dank and grassy flavors creep in, but in a good way. This is hopped primarily with Strata and then balanced out with the trio of Citra, El Dorado, and CTZ.

Solid and very well priced! Check it out!

Pours a cloudy golden straw with a finger of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Faint citrus aroma. Taste follows nose. Under carbonated.

predictably excellent, these guys pretty much always hit. this is strong for a base hazy, doesnt drink strong, but catches up quick, well hidden abv and not real malty or sweet or anything, it just is sort of sneaky. cool use of the strata hops, among others, i get big fruity notes here in aroma and flavor, ripe melon, clementine, red and green apple, and some juniper and gin character too, all on a somewhat basic malt base it seems, not super starchy and dense, doesnt even really appear all that hazy, probably not oat based then, and a little rusty orange to the color suggesting something a little richer, but it just drinks balanced to me. subtle mango and dried apricot notes doing tropical things to this, and there is a long linger even its not really riding residual sugar. i think the ferment could have run maybe just a touch longer, but then it would be approaching imperial strength. there is nice freshness to this, an obvious oily slickness more akin to west coast types, and enough bitterness where its not all fruit juice from the hops, which i never mind in these, especially the stronger ones. the body isnt heavy at all, but it does lack the high carbonation it seems to want, but this is interesting enough for that not to matter too much. i love the hop profile, strata forward obviously but thats not all, and on the whole, another real reliable brew from these guys. thanks to my father in law for picking this up for me during his work travels!

edit: not quite as good the second time around, a little green and even slightly soapy in the middle, but leaving scores as they are. this, like all hazy beer, must vary quite a bit depending on how fresh it is, how it is shipped, stored, all of that. father in law scored it at the source, so im sure it was at its best the first time.
