I had this beer on-tap in a snifter at the 2014 WABL Belgianfest in Seattle.
Appearance: rich amber hue with a light cloudiness. A nice look for the style.
Smell: almost rye-like with a little bit of a banana-ey aroma. Definitely more of a "toasty dubbel" than a "fruity dubbel"; still, I quite like it.
Taste: a bit on the biscuity side; kind of tastes like an amber ale with a Belgian twist. Not bad, objectively, but not super appealing to my palate.
Mouthfeel: a nice body with a good carbonation; satisfyingly creamy. I dig it.
Overall: again, not objectively bad, but the biscuity character in the flavor was not my favorite.
