I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a taster glass.

Appearance: pale golden hue with a moderate haze and a layer of creamy white foam. Not bad.

Smell: lightly sweet and fruity aroma, with a berry-like fruit quality — definitely smells like Belma to me.

Taste: berrylike Belma right up front. There’s a nice sweetness and a little bit of an earthy finish; it’s definitely a showcase for this hop. I think Belma is pretty interesting, so I like it.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess for the style. Not bad.

Overall: a very straightforward pale ale. It’s not a big citrus bomb or anything, but I think it showcases its hop very well.
