Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Green Session. Really dark brown color. Aroma has bitter dark chocolate, fudge and brownies. Taste is sweet and syrupy with bourbon, toffee and bitter roasted malt on the finish.

Had on tap. Let's start with the taste and feel, because both combined to make this beer remarkable. Very warm flavoring: roasted coffee, smooth bourbon, sticky molasses, sweet malt, and fresh chocolate cake. Beautiful balance. Smell is coffee and booze heavy, again warm and complete, but not as rich as taste.

Difficult to fathom how this stout (totally great as it is) has been produced for almost three years in my backyard and I just found out about it and 18th Street Brewery. (I go through Hammond several times a year, but cannot remember if I ever got out of the car... it is that depressed.) What explains that I am new to this budding brewing talent ?

Answer..... Either there are "too many great beers and too little time" or ... I have not been weeding well my backyard.
Both are true.
My bad.

Had at The Beer Temple on tap, I conclude the obvious: this is a rare beer. And it you can get it, get it.
Looks are typical, opaque and brownish head. Aromas tell you that you are a lucky man: you get the vanilla barrel affect first, followed quickly by the coffee and, then, the milk chocolate. Everything plays nice because everything recognizes that there is a greater goal here. (Sorry for sublimating my analysis of what has happened in the U.S.... but play nice, America !)
