More of a table beer than a pumpkin ale. The pumpkin is in the foamy aftertaste in the form of roasted seeds. Fun twist on the style, much more bitter, perhaps some brett as well. Light and sturdy in the body. Try this one for a different kind of pumpkin beer experience.

Bright orange color with plenty of white foam. Smells like fresh autumn maple leaves and pumpkins. Nice maple sweetness with subtle pumpkin tones. Tastes like a fresh and light autumn brown ale with plenty of dense bready malt character. Medium to full bodied, especially for the strength. Overall, a good beer with a few unique flavors.

a sort of european style pale ale here with pumpkin seeds. a full bodied but very drinkable beer, one of the more conventional beers i have ever had from scratch, despite the weird ingredient, it just kind of supports and beefs up the maltiness of this a little bit and adds a cool toasted earthy note, but this is a pale ale before it is a weird ingredient beer to me, not a complaint, this is delicious. clear and a shade or two darker than folden but short of brass, shiny though, and with a full inch of white head. the nose has some grassy old world sort of hops to it, as does the flavor, moderately bitter but all very well balanced and not overly complex at all, seemingly not dry hopped or anything, they arent that aromatic or robust, its at least as much about the malt, which is dry but has a honey note to it, a baked character, long boiled perhaps, and the starchy protein rich pumpkin seeds worked in well here. smooth in texture, almost dense but with great lively carbonation and a quicker finish for how malty this is. cool beer overall, maybe less obviously distinctive than so many of their beers, but this just shows they really are capable of anything. a very enjoyable glass of beer, and on tap at their brewery, its hard to beat!

Hazy amber with a finger of foam, broken surface skim.
Aroma is malt forward, toasty and nutty but not specifically pumpkin seed.
Taste is nutty with a toasted malt character, aftertaste hints at pepita.
Light astringency at first, malty and soft bodied otherwise.
Overall this is a light easy drinking amber ale with a light pepita aftertaste.
I’ve homebrewed with pepitas before and they’re pretty subtle.
Overall this is nice for what it is, but don’t expect a big savory pepita character.
