This crisp lager beer was brewed with pilsner malt from Sugar Creek Malt, Southern Illinois-grown hops, and juniper branches in the mash. Clean and easy drinking with a resinous finish.

A - Pours hazy gold, mostly transparent with a cloudy cast, minimal white head that does offer some lacing, thin lines, with an intermittent cap that persists long after the pour.
S - The front and foremost element is a white grape fruit, a bit of grassy hops, and a hint of the promised juniper.
T - Follows the nose, with the grape falling to the background, the pine and grass notes coming forward, and a mild fruity finish with just a bit of bitterness to give it a subtle bite.
M - Decent, soft carbonation, moderate weight, and a dry, clean finish.
O - I genuinely wish more breweries were exploring this kind of lager. The experience is both quite drinkable and rewarding. An exquisitely built beer that I'd pick up again, without question, if I ever see it.

Pours a cloudy golden color. Thick, frothy white head.
Aroma has notes of crackery pilsner malt, light floral hop notes, cedar wood, pines, and cedar needles.
Taste follows the nose with an initial note of sweet pilsner malt quickly giving way to a very strong woody character with notes of cedar plank, pine wood, pine needles, juniper and some light floral hop notes. It seriously tastes like a lager aged on cedar planks. I like it, but can see how it would be not everyone's cup of tea.
Feel is light, crisp, and very dry. Moderate carbonation.
Overall a unique and enjoyable beer.
