Had on tap. Cloudy golden body with a white head, moderate lacing. Aromas of leafy hops dancing lightly through smoke, german yeast, and hardy white bread. Taste adds faint sweet malt and lemon zest underneath all of this. Feel is yeasty and malty in feel, smoke texture is so mild, botanical hops massage the ending, not traditional in any way but well made. Fun for fall

I had this on draft 9/14/22 @ the Beer Temple.

Mostly opaque orange/yellow appearance.

Big bright white head; frothy lace.

Oak, mild smoke & faint lemon notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Mild caramel & oak flavors up front; mild smoke & faint tart cantaloupe notes on the finish.

I'm sure this wouldn't fly in the motherland, but it's easy to drink with a lot of interesting flavor. I'd have another!
