Big flavor of fruit, and yes it's passionfruit! I thought of the delicious Fortunate Islands from Modern Times, which of course doesn't need actual passionfruit. But the Culture fruity wheat is totally delicious.
Hazy amber with lots of coarse foam in the Blanche de Chambly glass. Tangy, insanely fruity, and pleasingly sweet. There's a mineral edge, a touch of funk, and just enough bitter aftertaste. No question it's the best passionfruit beer ever. From the 32 oz growler purchased at the Culture taproom in Ocean Beach.
