This is the 5.6% Belgian Saison. I don't know if it's a completely different recipe from the 4.2% listen on here, but it was very hoppy, and the gluten-free aspect give at an almost diet taste.

Sampled at the brewery in Solana Beach and brought a jug home for tasting. This is so cloudy it looks like light orange juice in the glass. Pours a handsome pile of foam in the Pilsner, with a pleasantly sudsy mouthfeel. Some yeasty bitterness adds to the refreshing quality.
Light malty flavors with a hint of lemon. The aroma is just like Hefeweizen. Eventually the dry yeastiness takes over and it gets a little scratchy in the back of the throat. This would be about the lightest Saison ever, but I think it's really more of a Farmhouse Ale in the lighter table beer style. Or maybe it's just a really lightened up Hefeweizen with a dose of Saison yeast. In any case it's a delicate yet flavorful quaff with a dry edge.
