The impending storm of Amarillo, Chinook, CTZ and Ekuanot Cryo hops, and the maltiness to withstand them, make this Double IPA a force to be reckoned with. Batten down the hatches and enjoy before the weather hits.

A - Pours a bright golden orange, pretty well transparent, with an orange-tinted off-white head, substantial but fades a bit, keeping a think cap and leaving extensive lacing.
S - Tea, lemon, pine, a bit of melon, with sweetness in the form of spun sugar.
T - Follows the nose, with a mint and lemon ice tea aspect, a middle that starts building sharpness into a fairly bitter finish. The bitterness is more tannic than pith, and lingers after the close.
M - Moderate carbonation, medium weight, a bit of alcohol warmth, and a dry, prickly note on the end.
O - A big, fat DIPA, with a punchy flavor profile. Enjoyable, but somewhat taxing. This is a one per session type brew.

16oz can into a nonick pint glass.
L: Pours 99% clear vibrant radiant rich electric gold w steady carbo, a 1" rounded off-white yellowish head w VG retention, splotchy lacing w thick sheeting opposite drink side. Well carb'd to end.
S: Melon, caramelized malts, light pineapple, kiwi, hard candy, a suggestion of bread, berries w warming.
T: Moderately rich sweet malts, a tsunami and blanket of fresh resinous hops, citrus zest, pine resin, melon rind, distant honey, bold juicy fruits and a hint of dark berries but resinous hops quell, gently earthy, a hint of graham cracker w warming. Long resinous finish & linger.
F: Lightly crisp w a zing, a med-full-bodied slick center and a slightly parching long finish.
O: Rich, bold & hoppy. An attention-grabbing hop forward DIPA that is a little sweet. That gets diligently swept away by the custodial nature of an intense hop bill. It's a wave that carries for minutes into a quite dry finish. It is strong and is excellent to outstanding in its style.

An underrated brewery that doesn’t get enough credit, even locally, these guys make good beer in a lot of different genres. Including this one, a 16 oz. can.
The pour is Fort Knox Gold, clear, bold, brilliant, & beautiful, just like an IPA should look in its Saturday best. The nose isn’t much to crow about, just a lot of malty backbone.
Green Sky kicks it old style. There are modern touches – it’s oily, & slightly juicy, with a strong vein of papaya or papaya-adjacent fruitiness running through it. But the mid-palate running through the finish is west coast, slightly dank, with citrus, pine & a bracing Goth bitterness. It’s the dankness that really sticks. I could drink plenty of this. Hope it sticks around for a bit.
This is an excellent IPA & one can only hope it’s on the leading edge of a clear, bitter IPA resurgence.

Very solid DIPA with a tropical and citrusy nose. The flavor profile is also dominated by tropical and citrusy hops, with strong hop oils contributing to the taste and mouthfeel.
