a beautiful pink raspberry sour, super light in feel, clear stained glass pink, and carbonated like a soda, the color of a deep rose wine. aroma here is awesome, really clean but very sharp puckery lacto sourness right away, it makes my mouth water, and it has a little bit of citrus character to it as well. the fruit is incredibly authentic in the nose, really fresh ripe raspberries, tart and sweet at the same time. very little grain or hops to speak of. the flavor is exceptional, raspberries really lead the way, as natural as they can possibly be, strongly dosed, and perfect in partnership with this tidy but piquant sourness that comes on about mid palate and continues to escalate through the dry finish. light white wine note to this, but a really pretty straightforward sourness, just a little funkiness to it and even a light spice in there, but its not overdone, and the beer is really drinkable for how sour it is. love the fruit intensity of this one, and think bad weather is doing some really nice beers right now!
