Had this at the tap room, and liked it so much I got a crowler that I enjoyed about a week later: had a Summit Keller a day later in order to compare. The BW offering isn’t quite as refined as the Summit, nor does it have the hoppy liveliness...however, this (the BW) is a mighty tasty offering, with loads of twangy yeast and slightly sourdough bready maltiness, a little hoppy liveliness (very mild compared to the Summit), and a nice solid but modest body. I’d drink this often if it was available...it is closer than the Summit to some of the delicious Kellers I remember from the last time I was in Germany.
