Nice spicy noble hop impression...on the nose and the taste....oily...a little lemony impression as well...light bitterness on the finish...malt adds a some hay and just a real light touch of breads.

Not perfectly clear but clearish light yellow...nice lacing on the glass.

Overall an enjoyable PIls with a nice spicy hoppiness.

This is a very clear pouring beer that is golden in color. There's a nice stream of carbonation bubbles that rise in the glass to produce a thick 3 finger white head. The fluffy looking head has decent head retention, and great looking lacing on the glass.
The aroma has a nice pleasing cereal grain smell to it. There's a hint of the hops that also shine through.
The cereal/grain flavor does start the flavor profile off. There's a hint of a floral element that comes into play in the middle. The finish is a nice and pleasing hop bitterness. The hops tend more toward pine than citrus.
This beer feels good. Nice depth to the body and fullness. The bitterness does cling to my throat for a bit.
This is a quite good representation of the style. Very delicious overall.

Appearance: Clear yellow, good head.

Smell: Corn, bit of grassiness.

Taste: Mild sweetness to start, slight corn flavor, moderately grassy finish.

Overall: A solid pilsner from Bad Weather, they have been making some nice drinking lagers lately and this is a good example. Nicely made pilsner, balanced, flavorful, easy drinking.

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, medium golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of floral and grassy hops, faint lemon citrus with yeast and cracker malt. (4.25)

Flavor: Moderate flavors of floral and grassy hops, faint lemon citrus. Yeast, cracker malt with a moderately bitter and dry finish. (4.00)

Feel: Medium to heavier-bodied, strong carbonation, a moderate bitterness lingers atop a smooth, lightly sweet bread malt. (4.25)

Compared to Schells No Frills Pils 11/2022: Pours a darker color. Milder aromas. More floral and grassy hops. Less lemon citrus.

Compared to Fair State Pils 5/2023: Pours similar. Stronger aromas. More lemon citrus and citrus flower. Less floral and grass. More smooth bread malt and less bitter.

to Fair State Strong Friend Moves 4/2024: Pours darker, milder head. Stronger aromas. Less flowery smooth yeast. More sweet and bitter lemon. Sweeter.

to Steel Toe Split Point 8/24: Pours identical, similar aromas. More fruity yeast. Less sweet lemon bread. Cleaner.

Overall: A very nice and bitter German Pilsner here. Hoppy, floral, grassy, and rather bitter. Still some sweet lemon citrus and bread malts. Drinks well all around. Bready with a moderate bitterness as described. Well-done. (Rating: 4.11)

Pours a mostly clear light golden color with nice lacing and head . Smell is floral with cracker meal.grassy herbal notes and pale malts . Taste floral hops with lemon grass,cgrain and beady notes . A crisp mouthfeel with nice clean carbonation . Tasty and quenchable

12oz can. Can bottom is stamped for canning date of '09/19/22'.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Lingering white cap. Left behind are partial rings of lacing.
Aroma is toasted malts, with an expression of toasted bread and sulfur. Earthy hops.
Taste is bready malts with a little sulfur bitterness. Floral hops. All trail off in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Very crisp and clean finish. Very good carbonation.
Very tasty and easy to drink. Would match with a lot of food choices.
