A traditional Czech Dark Lager (Tmavé Pivo) that shines with rich malty flavors and a smooth, balanced finish. Bread crust, and caramel notes dominate the aroma, while the taste brings layers of chocolate, bread crust, dark fruits, and a hint of nuttiness.

Appearance: Dark brown, big head.
Smell: Mild roasty aroma.
Taste: Mild sweetness, then mild toast, a little minerality, slight caramel note. Light bodied, very easy to drink. Finishes with light toast and light floral hops.
Overall: Picked up a single, I do like Bad Weather's beers and I like Czech dark lagers, so should be good. It meets my expectations, not mind-blowing, just an easy drinking dark lager.

12oz can. No dating information found.
Deep brown colored body, with red cherry back lit highlights. One finger of light tan head, which sticks around as a thin cap. Scattered small spots of lacing.
Aroma is big with malts - caramel, dark bread, coffee, and a bit of chocolate. Seems to have some vanilla also.
Taste is sweet, but has a tiny sour note. Flavors of dark bread crust, caramel, chocolate, coffee, and a touch of char. The sourness seems to come from a dark fruit expression (unsweetened cherry and plum). Earthy and nutty. The sweeter vanilla comes out in the aftertaste.
More than medium mouthfeel. Silky but clean. Good carbonation.
Balanced and tasty brew but with a lager bite.
