Epoch Beaver pours a black color, with a nice-sized tan head. The aroma is smoky, with a vegetable hop like flavor. Sweeter flavor, especially for an IPA, hints of toasted smoke. Good feel, a tad watery. Overall, a nice easy approachable black ipa, with traditional black ipa flavors; on the sweeter side.
