On tap, served in a sampling glass during the "Beer and a Movie" of the Big Lebowski at the Little Art Theater in Yellow Springs. Described as a "Kettle Sour" with raspberry and blueberries.
Appearance: Cloudy/translucent reddish-purple. Thin white ring of foam, some small strands of lacing.
Smell: Raspberries and Blueberries.
Taste: Tart and sour, with raspberry and blueberry flavors, and a sharp citrus/sour finish.
Mouthfeel: Sticky on the teeth, good carbonation, dry finish.
Overall / Drinkability: Sours are not my thing, but I'll give the brewers credit that their adding of the fruit after the souring of the beer in the kettle does work, and the fruit flavors are distinctly present. I don't think I could finish a large glass of this, but it was worth trying.
