Pint pour on tap at Old Scratch in Dayton. Served in a shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Golden yellow with a hint of straw/brown color to it, somewhat clear with a bit of haze. Thin white head with some thick strands of lacing.
Smell: Little aroma - a hint of something floral, and a hint of something tart.
Taste: A little sweet and lightly tart. A bit of a cooked grain finish.
Mouthfeel: Light, a little chewy, light carbonation, but refreshing.
Overall / Drinkability: While easily drinkable, the grainy finish left a bit to be desired. Fun to try the style, but I found one was enough.
