On tap at Granero in PV.
A wonderful Nitro pour looks like a professional Guinness pour.
A super weak roasted grain nose.
Somewhat of a thin feel to it, the taste is a weak version of a Guinness but a good try.
A very drinkable stout.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours nearly black, opaque in the glass with a fine, half finger light brown head with good retention. It may have been a nitro pour, but not a super creamy one. Aroma of dark toasted malt with hints of coffee and chocolate. Flavor follows with a classic Irish dry stout profile of dark toasted malt with a little char, light flavors of coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied with light creaminess. The menu suggests that this is a Guinness wannabe and it hits the mark. Flavor is very similar to light traditional Irish dry stouts with perhaps a slightly less density to flavor, although I remember the same impression with my last Guinness, having been spoiled by bigger domestic stouts. I enjoyed this quite a bit more than past reviewers, but it appears the ABV has been boosted from 3.8% to 5.8%, which would make a huge difference in flavor. If so, it was a good choice. I liked my entire pint of this.
