This beer was inspired by the legendary baseball talents of Ed “Cannonball” Crane who on one occasion, pitched back-to-back complete games and amazingly, also hit the game-winning home run. He led the Toronto Maple Leafs baseball club to their first international league pennant. Cannonball is brewed exclusively using German malt, hops and yeast. The result is a crisp Munich Helles-style Lager with a grainy cereal malt profile and a touch of honey sweetness.

On tap @ Arabella Park - puts a lightly hazed light gold lager in the glass with a puffy 2 finger white cap which lasts and laces the glass - aroma is a remarkable replication of H-P Munich Helles..... medium bodied, rounded and smooth, slick mouth feel - drinks well... flavour is malt forward with enough woody-musty noble hopping to prevent unwanted sweetness...rich bready malts with a lemony-honey kiss in the finish - fantastic sessioning lager easily on par with Hacker-Pschorr Helles on tap.
