Very decent kettle sour that isn’t a mess of conflicting and contrary fruit juice “flavours”. Still a bit sweet but these things are gateway sours, and more and more local toronto area breweries are doing them (and, it shouldn’t be ignored, catching up to the trailblazers at indie ale house) — which means more and more toronto area breweries will dip further into the style and we’ll see some real interesting stuff. I’ve always enjoyed the offerings at left field. And I’m very excited to see them try out the sours.

Bottle from the brewery: Blackberry and Tangerine - gives fruit sweetness with a slight tang. Pours deep clear cherry red with a pinkish frothy head.
