355 ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for around $3 CDN.
Appearance - Pours a crystal clear dark golden color, with minimal visible carbonation. Two fingers of dense white are poured and stay for a couple of minutes. Not much in the way of lacing.
Smell - Grainy notes with some lemon maybe. Unusual. Kind of smells like sweetened cactus or agave too.
Taste - Middling sourness, plenty of saltiness, some grain, light fruit flavors and again a watery plant like quality to it. a touch of nuttiness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, carbonation is a bit lacking and a bit heavier than the flavors should support.
Overall - Interesting gose, that's worth a try an pretty well balanced. The sunflower seeds seem to have an interesting impact on the brew here.
