The third brew of this exploratory IPA series showcases the ever popular Citra hop. Yakima Chief’s new High Extract Hop Oil was added to the whirlpool and we dry hopped with their Frozen Fresh Citra Cryo Hops (flash frozen at harvest and processed for maximum lupulin extraction). Combined with our usual pelletized Citra hops, this all-Citra IPA is bursting with the bold aromas and flavour of grapefruit, lime and tropical fruit.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some floral hops undertone and light juicy notes are also perceptible. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops notes with some floral hops notes with a dry finish and light juicy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable and very Citra focused.

I bought a can of 355ml at 6%.

Poured a one finger head into glass looked good a little hazy color
nice enjoyable citrus and fruit flavor
Zesty lemon very good beer sweet but not that sweet its very drinkable and a good cut of fruit
I should have bought more of these
