Copenhagen 3/10 2019. 33 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard (web-shop). Brown label with a laboratory flask in Black.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a big white head. Bubbly. Settles as 0,5 cm thick, creamy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial Lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, acerbic and a little sharp. Citrus, unripe, tart berries. Green Apples. Hints of Black pepper.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart and citric. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
I would not exactly call it experimental - but it is a solid Saison with some punch.
