Oh just knocking out some obscure beers reviewed in the Fall of 2019. Saw this place is closed now, hey might as well upload the first review on BA ever of this beer. Makes sense right?
Pours a golden yellow, lots of clarity for style. It will all make sense soon enough. The aroma smelled like those herbs you don't cook or smoke with. I imagine that was the yeast, and not like chamomile as an adjunct. Like bed, bath & beyond like vibes. Lots of pilsner malt too. Is this a saison? Not sure.
The taste imparts wheat, but the yeast is still questionable. Floral, kind of literally. Has a bunch of those flower like aspects. Plenty of wheat, but still not all that saison-esque. The body seems heavier than the saison I'm used to, more viscous. Has a wheat character, like this is somewhere between wheat beer, saison and hefeweizen. Interestingly enough, has a bitter pop to it. Doesn't do the trick for me, I'm out doggggggg.
