A - Pours very light gold. Very clear, with stark white head leaves slowly. Lots of cling lace.

S - Sweet malt and bitter hop aroma, both of which have a very low volume. Perhaps too cold.

T - Lighter fair than most I have had at Alpine. Nice lighter malt, nicely followed by light bittering hops.

M - Light body, good carb, nice balance. Very subtle beer by comparison to other Alpine IPAs (I know this is an APA but it seems to try and be an IPA).

D - Very sessionable and very tasty. One you can drink all night and not get too messed up or too fat.

Screw-top growler received via Growling at the Moon. Thanks for the brew, Justin!

First stein pours with a 1/4" bright white head over the clear straw brew. Head fizzes away rather quickly, down to a light skim, with delicate lasting lace. Aroma is abundant citrus and pine hops.

Taste is a quick pale sweetness upfront, citrus in the middle, and pine bitterness through the close. Mouthfeel is smooth, with easy drinkability. This brew, while possibly not looking as substantial to start, is quite a brew. Powerhouse of an APA.

I could have sworn this was an IPA! Nope APA. Only Alpine could make this tasty of a near session beer! My wife is so so happy! Excellent color and clarity. Love the aroma and flavor. SF Beer week peeps are going to love this! What the hell? Invalid comment length??
