Looking forward to this version of Singled Out. Recently had an El Dorado beer and it’s fresh in my mind. Should be on the high side of my favorite Singled Out versions.
Poured a medium yellow, semi-clear color with one finger of off-white head. Just a couple bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Very good foamy lacing. Good-to-decent retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled El Dorado (but not as much as Odd13 S.M.A.S.H - El Dorado), orange, citrus, tangerine, lemon zest and lime. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted El Dorado, lime, lemon, citrus zest, cantaloupe and hints of cinnamon or nutmeg (really?). More citrus than tropical. (Taste - 3.75)
Light body. Oily texture Average carbonation. Longer finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Actually really liked this one. One of the better Singled Out versions in my opinion and I probably underrated it a tad. (Overall - 4.00)

This was my first Singled Out from Alpine, and it delivered! Huge tropical aroma that you could smell from across the room, and the taste bursts with it. Love the simplicity of the malt bill, and is actually closer to balanced than I expected. Almost feels more like an IPL, which I am a fan of. Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
