Had been hit and miss on this series so far with Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe leading the way. Had tried Motueka multiple times, but not sure I could pick it out of a lot. Glad to see this by itself.
Poured a pale-to-gold semi-clear color with two fingers of frothy off-white head when I got it. Some light bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Very good spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled purple grape, passionfruit, tropical fruit punch, lime, dark cherries and bubblegum. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste followed the nose. This was interesting. Got purple grape, bubblegum, passionfruit, tropical fruit punch, caramel candy squares, hints of butterscotch, lime and earthy bitter citrus rind. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Longer finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Liked this one overall. Would like to try this hop with Mosaic. Very good. (Overall - 3.75)
