Misc.: Quick review
Didn’t know anything about this beer when I got there, but beertender mentioned Mosaic and Idaho 7 for the hops, with Simcoe for the bittering hop. Seems like a pretty good combo and Idaho 7. Was looking forward to it.
Poured a golden clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of off-white frothy head when I got it. Pretty calm underneath with maybe just a few bubbles spotted. World-class uneven lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled big Mosaic, Simcoe, floral, berries, mango, stone fruit, bubblegum, sticky sappy pine and lingering spice on the tip of my nose. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but close. Got Mosaic, berries, mango, bitter sappy pine, stone fruit, bubblegum, floral, black pepper, Simcoe and dank resin. Idaho 7 was mentioned by the beertender, but not sure I got any of it. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Sharp bitter, dry finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Outstanding, but I think I underrated this overall. Wish I would have taken home a growler of this. (Overall - 4.00
