330ml bottle. Tumbler glass. Enjoyed on mar´13. Pale gold in color, foggy appearance. White froth creates a close to creamy crown showing fairly good retention. Very gentle aroma profile: intense ripe strawberry, molasses, mild toasted & crystal malts, spices & citrics as well as bready, toffee & floral notes. Kind malty upfront followed by bitter citric juice & fresh bread touch. Light body. Moderate to high carbonation. Fruits in the middle provide an slight sourness that lingers into the finish rounded by citric astringency. Strawberry sourness on the aftertaste. Refreshing, delightful & no-cloying at all. Low ABV allows an easy drinkability. Not being a Fruit beer fanatic, Maduixet has absolutely changed my mind about them. (Maduixet -in Catalan- stands for Strawberry)
