Excellent smell: caramel, pines and wood. Quite bitter. Overpriced, but very nice.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Dec 2014, so it's a little out of date. Picked up a while back from Trembling Madness in York. Described on the label as a Citra IPA aged on cedar wood. Sounds amazing....
A: Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. A rich marmalade-amber hue with faint haze and medium carbonation. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a patchy surface layer.
S: Aroma of potent fruity hops with hints of lemon, lime, clementine, peel, citrus, mild pine, caramel malt, earthy yeast, faint woodiness and stewed hops. A suggestion of chewits and a touch of booze in the background. Superb.
T: Tastes of vigourous aromatic hops and caramel malt with an intense bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, orange peel, clementine, citrus, pine resin, hints of wood, caramel malt, earthy yeast and stewed hops. Slightly sweet, followed by a powerful bitter finish.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with soft carbonation and excellent body. Possesses an unusually distinct texture; hop and pine oils tantalise the palate. Quite astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, citrus/pine, mild woodiness and caramel malt.
O: Fantastic - a lovely IPA with extra depth from the cedar. Looks great, while the aroma and flavour showcase plenty of citrus notes along with subtler pine and caramel malt. Top-notch body. The cedar adds an unusual but enticing piny quality; different from hops that add a similar character. A superb beer resulting from an inspired collaboration - well worth sampling if you have the chance.

330ml Bottle:
Dark, hazy amber to bronze with a 2 inch, foamy white head that slowly reduces in size over the opening 2-3 mins leaving one that is white and quite creamy looking with the odd touch of lacing on the sides of the glass too.
Quite hoppy & lively with lots of pine & floral smell that is strong & easy to detect. There is citrus & the beer has a nice balance to it with some sweetness & the odd tropical fruit note coming through alongside some background fruits & bitterness.
Definitely bitter with a lot of hops & strong pine backed up with a little citrus & a floral middle that also features some grapefruit & orange. Strong tasting one with a some sweetness balancing thins out well.
Medium bodied & quite bitter with a strong finish that is dry & lingers long after each sip. Some sweetness in areas & particularly towards the end but it is definitely the bitterness that wins out, falling just short of overpowering. The alcohol seems to be hidden for the most part with only the faintest touches of it making themselves known and overall the beer has a good balance.
Definitely an enjoyable beer & one I wouldn't mind giving another go at some point.

Was not a huge fan. The cedar wood flavour is not what you expect to find with an IPA and whilst moderately interesting, is off putting.

PseudoSue on cedar. Orange and pineapple that fades into an aftertaste of cedar.

On draft, pours a slightly hazy pale orange, with a wispy thin white head.
The smell is malt, a little oak, wood chips, caramel, a little pine and spruce, cedar. The flavor is heavy malt, caramel, citrus and piney hops, a little wood. This is a big IPA, malt forward, good hop character, but the cedar wood flavor is throwing me a little bit. Just my not my favorite interpretation. It is medium bodied, good clean bitter finish.
