On tap at Hunahpu Day. Served in a wine glass. This is an Imperial Brown ale aged in Bourbon barrels with pecans, vanilla, and maple syrup.
Appearance - Deep brown. Nearly black. Medium khaki head.
Smell - Lots of maple. Nutty malts and chocolate. Some bourbon.
Taste - Really quite sweet. Very strong maple. Sweet caramel malts. Bourbon. Nutty finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Too sweet.
Overall - All the components sounded incredible, but it didn't pan out.
