That’s not the only new Proteus brew to look forward to! At the end of each volume we’re using our favourite combinations and everything we’ve learned about the hops to create an amped up IPA version. Look out for this early April in cask, keg and bottle.

Clear golden color with some yeast sediment and off-white head. Aroma has dank hops with fruit notes but also a sweet, nutty malt note. Taste starts hoppy with dank/vegetal notes and finishes with an earthy bitterness and nutty malt. Full bodied with decent carbonation. Overall it's quite good but not something special.

Clear copper/amber colour. Strong citrusy hops and syrupy sweet pale malts, a bit alcoholic in the nose. Strong citrus hop flavours, citrus rind bitterness, sweet heavy malts, balanced and smooth. Lingering hop flavours.

Bottled. Huge flavour here, not only hops, which are really present. Sweet and hoppy on the front, Bitter and warming on the finish. Another quality siren brew.
