Bought a bottle at the brewery 10/18, drank 11/12/18.
Not a bad coffee Stout, but nothing really distinctive about it either in this day and age of coffee stouts and other additives. Would gladly have again and would love to try on cask.

L: nice almost black chocolate/auburn brown tinged colour, poured no head but a really rich peanut brown head comes up quickly with a swirl. S; a little distant, good coffee beans and a touch of melted 85-90% plain chocolate, the influence I expected from the weizen yeast is barely there, booziness slightly noticeable. T; pretty nice, hides the alch presence well. Medium roast nutty coffee beans, plain chocolate, cacao nibs and the weizen yeast sitting under there somewhere, only missing no clove note I can perceive but perhaps that's a good thing. F; smooth, little effervescence.
O; decent imperial stout, it should be listed as that style there is little in common with the Dunkelwiezen. Loses some score due to the weak smell and not that noticeable presence of the weizen yeast. Delicious with some strawberries and cherries.
