Copenhagen 9/12 2020. 33 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Honey cube structures with white drawings of barley and hop plants.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass.
Aroma is medium intense with a strong sweet odor mingling spicy, burnt notes. Brown sugar, honey, lamp oil. A subtle salty streak. Hints of licorice.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, tough, lightly tingling texture. A bit sticky.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and a tad boozy. Finish is sweet with a notable burn of alcohol and chili.
Heavy, sweet and boozy. As a Braggot should be. With a nice chili touch.
