Copenhagen 25/2 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups allé, Frb. F. Orange, yellow and black version of Siren's usual can design with what looks like a close up of some kind of reptile.

Pours unclear, golden yellow with a miid-sized white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of ripe Stone fruit mingling with a distinct scent of citrus fruit. Sweet peach and mango, Grapefruit and lemon. Dry vibe.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively, gently tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit rough and tart. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.

A bit citric and unforgiving.

440ml can from Home Bargains (£1.89):
Hazy golden to straw with with 1cm, bubbly white head that eventually settles as a thin white surface lacing. The nose is mainly citrus & light hops, some lemon & pine in as well but not a huge amount. The taste is more of the same, lots of lemon, citrus & some pineapple alongside lighter tropical flavours & a slightly unbalanced bitterness to close. Medium bodied & quite clean with fine carbonation but the balance wasn't the best for the most part.

Can. Misty straw. Thin vibrant head. Lacy froth hangs down the side.
Mixed hop aroma. Pine, grapefruit, pineapple and lemon.
The cacophony of hops harmonise upon tasting and finishes with a decent hit of bitterness. Malt is hardly noticed but there is balance in the taste.
Light zingy carbonation. Medium body.
Stands out well from the crowd.
