The results of a 15 month project, our Starry Messenger has been lagered in French Oak barrels that were previously used for maturing Chardonnay. It’s a unique beer with beautiful floral, grape and apricot aromas. Flavour builds with honey malt character, subtle sweetness and a tang of sweet fruits before a dry, crisp break of bitterness.

440ml can. A barrel aged lager.
L: Hazy, dark gold with a creamy head that lasts and leaves bands of lacing.
S: Rich and heady aroma of wood and apple brandy.
T: Tons of oak, balanced by heather honey and grape juice. Tastes almost like a gentle Speyside scotch whisky with water.
F: Medium body, dry finish.
O: Super assertive. The barrel ageing is not subtle. Best drunk at the end of an evening or as a dessert beer.
