Deep Auburn colour, clear. Looks almost black in my wide glass. Pours with a tight tan head that lingers with a ring of foam. Smell is dark fruit, spice, caramel and slight wood. Taste is very much the same, with a lingering woody feel. Very balanced between well made quad, and barrel character. These barrel aged siren beers are damn good. Feel is smooth, not thick, but not thin either somehow.
