2023 vintage; drank 2/23/25 @ the Yarchives.
Murky brown/orange appearance.
An even pour yielded a small tan head; strong tree-rung lacing remained.
Nail polish, mild wood & faint caramel notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Nail polish, mild caramel & faint pickle juice flavors; this is way worse than the 8 year old 2015 bottle I had a few years back.
Not sure if this was just a bad mix or these are all bad even somewhat fresh, but I'm not buying these beers any more.

Very dark amber colour, tan head. Smell is complex, caramel dark fruit and whiskey. Looking at it after this has many many barrels present, explains the complexity. Taste is the same, smooth full feel, but with an odd lasting feeling that I can't quite discern.
