Copenhagen 22/11 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Purple can with a mountain surrounded by fluffy clouds.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 0,4 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sugary sweet, candy-like odor mingling with a subdued, sourish scent. Toffee and white sugar, marshmallow and chocolate. Sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a tart undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Not as overwhelmingly sweet as I feared.
