375 ml bottle, bottled 24/05/2023 printed on the label, big thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head that stuck around a little while. Small amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark chocolate, roasted malt, coconut, bourbon, and some oak. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some lime and vanilla flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit syrupy with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. Overall I liked this one but think I would have liked it more if it was a little fresher. Hoping Siren makes another batch of this at some point.

From the 375 ml bottle in a snifter. This unique little brew pours a
rich deep brownish black with a nice head of tan foam that settles to a
thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some nice lacing and nice legs. Nose of
toasted coconut, subtle citrus more akin to a sweet tart, dark chocolate,
bourbon, and light oak. Flavors pack it in with rich bourbon lending itself
nicely to the toasted coconut, dark chocolate, light lime zest that offers some
unique balance and lift to the beast, molasses, subtle char, and mellow oak
dashed with vanilla. Mouth feel is medium full, medium light carbonation,
smooth, rich, moderately coating, moderately warming, and finishing with a
nicely balanced lime and bourbon bitter malt note.
Overall, this is one of those hybrids that really works and works well!
Cheers
