Copenhagen 15/5 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A red can riddled with lava and embers in Siren's usual design.
Pours unclear, very dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citric notes. Toasted malts. Caramel and toffee. Metallic alcohol. Lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitterness. Lingers for a bit. Finish is pleasant toffee.
Fine and quite sweet Red Indian Pale Ale.
