Copenhagen 20/5 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Siren's usual can design with an abstract illustration with fine and fat parallel lines on an orange and yellow background.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a mild odor of sweet stone fruits mingling with a more aggressive citric scent. Peach and apricot soon overpowered by grapefruit and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone- Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Solid and well-balanced Indian Pale Ale.
